Officer Pat Patterson brings him outside for some fresh air and a picture. He is very calm, docile and deserving of a forever home.   • This white bulldog mix with a brown spot on his right eye was featured last week. He was picked up Tuesday, Feb. 28, off Cedar Valley Trail in Blue Ridge. His head quickly turns when hearing the various noises outdoors. He is very keen of his surroundings. The loving dog is available for adoption from Animal Control if not reclaimed by his owner. His animal control number is 038-17.

Adopt-A-Pet

All the dogs featured in this week’s edition are once again previously-viewed from Fannin County Animal Control.

Officer JR Cornett said only one dog was taken in this past week, and it was reclaimed along with two other dogs. Donations are still being accepted for the medical expenses of Zeke, the dog who was recently harmed in a tragic car accident that took his owner’s life. Checks can be sent to FCAC at 1001 Industrial Road, Blue Ridge, Georgia 30513 or Fannin Courthouse/Board of Commissioners at 400 W. Main St., Suite 100, Blue Ridge, Georgia 30513. Cash donations can be dropped off at either location. Hours of  operation at Animal Control are Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the facility. After hours the officers follow up with community concerns and respond to stray dog calls.
