Bobbie Miller Logan, age 75, of Ellijay, passed on Sunday, March 26, 2017.
She was born Dec. 21, 1941, in Fannin County, to the late Clifford and Elavie Woody Miller. Bobbie retired from Ferrell Gas after 37 years of service and worked for Bob Thomas at Thomas Oil Company for 12 years. She was a member of the Ellijay Church of Christ. Her parents, brother, William (Bill) Miller, nephew, Kevin Trent Miller and sister-in-law Delores Gilliam Miller preceded her in death.
She is survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, Charlotte and Ralph Stanley, Jane and Richard Weaver, all of Blue Ridge; brother, Jerry Miller of Cherry Log; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and special friends, Dorothy Weaver, Patsy Crooke, Geraldine Fitts, Nina Burgess, Bob Thomas and employees of Thomas Oil Company., J.C. and Martha Sanford, Suzanne Young, Alicia Roque-Brandon, Clara Jo Rodgers, and special friends and care-givers Joe Davis, Alice Adkins and Eva Childers.
She loved her family, friends and her pet dog, Joy.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Minister Butch Jones and Minister Terry Stewart officiating. Amazing Grace was sung by Betty Ledford and congregational singing was led by Cody Bearden.
Interment was held in the Stanley Creek Church of Christ cemetery with a dove release.
Pallbearers were Caleb Weaver, Ben Weaver, Adam Weaver, Alan Nichols, Randy Watson and Marvin Verner.
Honorary pallbearers were nieces, Monica Watson, Miranda Verner, Cally Nichols, Hayley Miller, Jennifer Weaver, Kristan Weaver, Katelyn Weaver and Maddie Weaver.
The family met with friends Wednesday from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Stanley Church of Christ Cemetery Fund or Ellijay Church of Christ Cemetery Fund in memory of Ms. Logan.
Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
