Wet Noses receives $5,000 from Tractor Supply, Miranda Lambert's foundation

Tractor Supply Company, the largest rural lifestyle retailer in the United States, and Miranda Lambert's MuttNation Foundation have teamed up to donate $5,000 to Wet Noses Animal Rescue in Blue Ridge, Georgia. The donation is part of Tractor Supply and MuttNation's Mutts Across America program, which celebrates and supports the organizations that do the important work of caring for shelter animals. Annually, the program selects one outstanding shelter or foster-based rescue in every state—along with a "Wildcard" pick in honor of Lambert's GRAMMY®-winning album of the same name—to receive a surprise $5,000 grant. Wet Noses Animal Rescue is this year's Georgia honoree. Tractor Supply recognized Wet Noses Animal Rescue in store during its nationwide Animal Days event on Saturday, August 15. Store Team Members presented shelter representatives with a jumbo check and a $50 Tractor Supply gift card to purchase additional supplies. Wet Noses Animal Rescue was chosen based on its strong community presence, high adoption rates and exceptional care standards. Each year, MuttNation conducts extensive research to carefully select the organizations to be honored. Recipients are given no advance notice before receiving the award. The donation across all 51 Mutts Across America winners represents a total of $255,000. Since its inception, the program has supported more than 500 shelters with upwards of $2 million in grants.
